Break Out Board Tester

Wiring installation, confirmation, and troubleshooting are simplified using this tool made for the field technician. Connecting the Break Out Board Tester to the Break Out Board in place of the Validar 86 provides a visual indication, via super bright LED’s, of every active input. This gives the technician a clear confirmation of a proper installation. Configurable Active Inputs The polarity of each input is configurable for active LOW or HIGH using the “solder switches” on the bottom of the PC Board. Input-Output Parameter Configuration I/O configuration is currently programmed by manufacture to customer specifications. This includes:

Messages to Mobile Data Computer in response to inputs or logic of inputs

Relay control in response to inputs from Break out Board or from Dispatch

Change of event recording with Date/Time stamp

Unit serial number or other pertinent information to be stored can be programmed by the installer using a “form” program supplied by the manufacture to facilitate unit setup at installation time. Final installation can also be verified with the virtual input LED’s.
